One Piece is back for a second season at Netflix with it’s swashbuckling adventure and this time we’re headed for the Grand Line, a place not for those weak of character.
Netflix has dropped it’s first teaser trailer for it’s second season of the show ahead of it’s release in early 2026, but with the newest trailer came with the exciting news that the show will be getting a third season. The second season was delayed significantly due to strikes and production delays, something the third season is optimistic not to be struck with. Netflix also stated in a press release that season three is set to start filming later this year!
The first season was fairly successful in compressing 45 episodes of the anime to in a more compact 8-episode series that featured five story arcs from the anime. The second season appears to also follow this trend by adapting multiple arcs from the anime in the second seasons span.
You can catch Luffy and the gang when the show releases on Netflix in early 2026!
