A blaze caused by exploding gas bottles has decimated a house in the Northwest this morning.
Crews from Railton, Sheffield and Latrobe responded to reports of a fire at Hardwicks Road, Sunnyside around 6:30 this morning and arrived to find half the house, a caravan and car engulfed by flames.
Despite the best efforts of fire crews, the fire resulted in the total loss of the house, carport and vehicles.
The occupants were able to get out of the house safely, with no injuries reported.
Fire investigators are on scene.
