National Advance Care Planning Week

National Advance Care Planning Week will be from 17-23 March. This awareness week is a perfect opportunity for community members of all ages to have a conversation with loved ones and health providers on what matters most, particularly at end of life, so that their care and treatment preferences are known and respected.

As part of this awareness week, Palliative Care Tasmania, will host two free film screenings of Live the Life You Plese in Ulverstone on 27 March 2025.

Live the Life You Please is a story about life, death and the things that really matter.

The film follows seven Australians facing the end of life, while advocating for best practice palliative care to make the final chapter of life a beautiful one. Through these stories, you discover that palliative care is more than just medicine – it’s the physical, social, emotional and spiritual supports given to patients and their loved ones. The film is about embracing every moment and living the life you please until the very end.
