Port Sorell Fire Brigade Movie Night

MINIONS, MOVIES & A WHOLE LOTTA LAUGHS!
The Port Sorell Fire Brigade is trading hoses for popcorn (just for one night!) and putting on a massive movie night at the Banksia Centre – and you’re all invited!

Saturday, July 12th (right in the middle of the school holidays!)
Banksia Centre, Port Sorell
Doors open at 6:00pm
Movie kicks off at 6:30pm sharp
$7 per person – all ages welcome!

We’re screening the hilarious new release Despicable Me 4, so round up the kids, rally the neighbours, and come along for a night of Minion madness and good vibes.

Bring your beanbags, blankets, rugs, or pillows – whatever keeps your bum comfy and your heart happy. And don’t forget to rug up warm – it might be chilly, but the atmosphere will be cosy!

We’ll have popcorn, soft drinks and other treats available for sale at the door to keep you fuelled throughout the film.

All profits go toward our team’s fundraising efforts for the 2025 Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb supporting some great charities doing important work.

This isn’t just a movie night – it’s a chance to come together as a community, support a great cause, and see a few firefighters way out of their comfort zones (we’re way better with smoke than with seating plans).
