Trans Tasman International Indoor Bowls Test Series

The North West and Western Division Indoor Bias Bowls Associations, together with the Tasmanian Indoor Bias Bowls Council, are proud to host the 26th Trans Tasman International Test Series Australia versus New Zealand on behalf of the Australian Indoor Bias Bowls Council. This prestigious event is held Bi Annually with the 2026 Series held at the Banksia Centre, 1 Anderson Street, Port Sorell, from May 11th to 16th, 2026. Notably, the previous ten Test series in Australia have taken place in Sydney and Melbourne, making this a significant achievement for our associations and the State to secure the Trans Tasman Test Series both in our State and Port Sorell.

The Test Series will be live-streamed, with an estimated 3,500 plus viewers from Australia and New Zealand expected to tune in to each of our six sessions. 6 Mats per Session with 12 Events contested, with the winner receiving the Trans-Tasman Medal and the winning Nation (on points) taking home the well sought after Heneselite Trans-Tasman Trophy, We will also provide transportation for our New Zealand and interstate guests, offering further opportunities to showcase the local area.
