A cyclist has received treatment at the Royal Hobart Hospital after colliding with a bus in the CBD.
Police say the bus was obeying traffic signals when the rider struck it on the Liverpool and Barrack Street intersection.
The 27-year-old New Norfolk man wasn’t wearing a helmet.
Speed, alcohol or drugs have been ruled out as factors in the crash.
Investigators are appealing for anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch, describing it as a timely reminder for the wearing of appropriate safety equipment when travelling on bicycles and scooters.
