An 18 year old Shorewell Park man in Burnie has been charged with drug trafficking.
Police claim he was found with amphetamine when landing on King Island on a flight from Burnie.
As a result of an ongoing investigation by King Island Police into the supply of illicit drugs to King Island, police allege the man was intercepted with a trafficable quantity of amphetamine in excess of 1 ounce.

The teenager is on bail for a future court appearance.
