$5.5 million worth of cocaine and ice won’t be hitting Tasmanian streets after a massive seizure at Hobart Airport on Monday.
State and federal police allege a drug detector dog picked up a 32-year-old Claremont man who’d just arrived on a flight from Sydney at around 8pm.
A search of the man’s luggage found 2 kg of cocaine and 3.5 kg of methylamphetamine.

The man will face Hobart Magistrates Court on a trafficking charge on Tuesday.
