The four people found guilty of the manslaughter of 23 year old Burnie dad Bobby Medcraft by a Launceston jury have been sentenced to jail time.
A blow-up on social media led to Bobby’s death from a sword strike in March 2020.
34 year old Cody Sheehan has been sentenced to 8 years, the Justice describing Sheehan as lucky to escape a murder conviction.

For their involvement, 31 year old Lucas Ford was sentenced to six and a half years, his 24 year old sister Kelsey Ford to five and 54 year old William Hanlon five and a half years.
All four can apply for parole once they serve half of their sentences.
