The original Ulverstone State School building, which is part of the Ulverstone Primary School site in Leven Street, has been earmarked to be added to Tasmanian Heritage Register.
The school originally opened in 1870 and celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2020.
The Tasmanian Heritage Council has advertised its intention to add the building to the list.

Members of the public have 60 days to make a submission or lodge an objection.
