Paper on Skins set to wow again this year

Finalists have been annou8nced for this year’s prestigious Paper on Skin exhibition in Devonport.

The exhibition features wearable paper art held every two years, with more than $14,000 in prizemoney up for grabs this year.

Paper on Skin started in Burnie in 2012, moving to Devonport for the first time two years ago.

A highlight of this year’s exhibition will be the gala parade and award evening at the Devonport Town Hall Theatre on September 21st.

Finalists this year come from 11 different countries with a 60 per cent increase in entries overall.

2022 major winner Kaori Kato, from Japan, is a finalist again this year, with more than half of the finalists being first-time exhibitors.
