A Wynyard man has been arrested following a string of burglaries across the state’s North West.
On Tuesday, August 13 2022, detectives from Burnie CIB executed a search warrant in Wynyard.
The searches relate to a number of alleged burglary and stealing offences in unlocked cars and a local shed.

A 19-year-old man was later arrested and charged with four counts of burglary and four counts of stealing.
He has been bailed to appear before the Burnie Magistrates Court on 15 November 2022.
Police have reminded locals to lock vehicles when they are not in use, to avoid becoming an easy target.
It’s reported all targeted vehicles on this occasion were left unlocked.
