Smoke Alert Ulverstone

A smoke alert remains in place for Ulverstone following a bushfire yesterday on a small island in the Leven River.

Whilst there’s no threat to the community – smoke, ash and embers from the blaze could pose as a hazard for passing motorists or those with smoke sensitivities.

The fire is inaccessible to Tasmania Fire Service, however crews are patrolling the zone at regular intervals.
