Tasmania has reached another grim milestone, with Coronavirus linked deaths climbing to 160.
A woman in her late 90s has passed away in the North West.
669 new cases have been recorded overnight, on par with yesterday’s figures.
20 Covid-positive patients are in hospital for symptoms but there are no Covid-19 cases being cared for in the state’s ICU.
385 people are using the COVID@Homeplus program, two people are being cared for in Community Case Management Facilities.
Recoveries are still outpacing infections however, with active numbers dropping to 3,856.
The majority of the cases can be found in the South, with 901 cases being monitored in Tasmania’s North.
720 cases have been reported from the North West.
