Ulverstone drugs bust

A 34 year-old Ulverstone man has been charged with trafficking in a controlled substance following a police raid on Friday.

Police say the man was arrested after a search at an Ulverstone property located significant quantities of MDMA and other drugs.

Police say the 382 grams of MDMA seized had the potential to realise 3800 street deals worth more than $100,000.

In addition to the MDMA, police also seized a quantity of cannabis, methyl-amphetamine or ice, and a quantity of cash.

The man has been bailed to appear in court at a later date.
