Wynyard Show still going strong after 133 shows

Low or no cost activities for families will be the focus for Saturday’s 134th edition of the Wynyard Show.

The show bills itself as an authentic country show with displays of livestock, poultry and horses, a popular competitive woodchopping programme, carriage driving competition, live music, local produce and craft displays and of course sideshow alley.

Since the demise of the Devonport and Ulverstone Shows in recent years, the Wynyard Show is one of only three remaining on the Coast, along with Burnie and Circular Head.
