Launceston murder trial begins
A pandemic delayed murder trial is underway in Launceston.
Dismembered remains found near Myrtle Park in the state's north east were formally identified as Jake Anderson-Brettner in September 2018.
He had been missing since August 15th, the body part was found four days later by police who had at the time indicated their investigation had links interstate.
29 year old Riverside man Jack Harrison Sadler, who is accused of shooting the then 24 year old in a home in Dion Crescent and dumping the body, has again entered a plea of not guilty.
The trial is anticipated to run for around three to four weeks.
