Wild wind gusts on the way
Nearly half the state is being warned power cuts could be on the way with another spring blast hitting this evening.
The weather bureau's warning the state's south and east will bear the brunt of a cold front due to cross Tasmania by tomorrow morning.
West to North-Westerlies packing gusts of up to 100 kilometres an hour, and higher in elevated areas, will arive in the Huon Valley and far south early this evening, extending to the south-east and east later tonight.
Locations potentially in the firing line include St. Helens, Swansea, Bicheno, New Norfolk, Hobart, Geeveston, and Dover, with gusts to peak tomorrow morning.
