Australia’s favourite finger snack is shaking things up in a big way. Cheezels has officially unveiled a brand-new flavour and it’s already sending snack lovers into meltdown online.
The iconic cheesy rings are swapping cheddar for a tangy twist, with Salt & Vinegar Cheezels set to hit shelves from June. The flavour will first launch exclusively in selected 7-Eleven stores before rolling out more widely at Coles shortly after.

A Huge Change For The Classic Snack
For decades, Cheezels have been known for their intense cheese flavour and bright orange coating. But this new release ditches the cheese entirely in favour of a bold salt-and-vinegar hit.
Early taste testers say the flavour is seriously intense, with influencers describing it as the kind of snack that “smacks you in the face” with vinegar flavour, exactly what fans of the classic chip seasoning want.
Aussies Are Already Obsessed
Social media users are already calling the release “elite” and “dangerous” for anyone addicted to salt and vinegar chips.
The launch follows other experimental Cheezels flavours including chicken, chilli cheese and cheese & bacon, but this might be the brand’s boldest move yet.
